It feels like going home. The food is authentic New Mexican and always brings back memories. Michelle has waited on my family for years, she's not just our server, she's family. It's one of the only places that is cash only, and I enjoy that they are. Parking is limited but there are always spots. First come first served so sometimes a wait is expected. It's never too long. When you go, ask for Michelle or Debbie.

What a delicious oasis on a long road trip! Light, delicious sopaipillas, hearty, flavorful beans and meat. Salsa has wonderful deep flavor, great kick. Natillas custard was a dish of heaven.

We both chose the combination plate myself with green sauce, my husband with red. Hint the red is hotter. The salsa has a kick to it as well. I loved this place and will be back if I ever come back go Albuquerque. For both of our plates and a soda each it was 31.00 which is not bad at all.

This is the real Albuquerque deal. Excellent food served piping hot with chips, salsa and sopapillas as part of any meal. Not a fancy place- it's a strip mall next to a laundromat. The red sauce is perfection, which means it will clear out your sinuses, make your eyes water and cause a moderate sweat. This place gets busy!!!

Food was great! Beans and rice seasoned well. Wait staff was very attentive. We got our food quick during the lunch rush. I'll be back for sure.

If you're looking for a tasty New Mexican style dish you must try Padilla's! The food is fantastic! Seasoned to perfection. A basket full of Fresh hot sopapillas served with your meal is amazing. Their prices are also really decent considering how wonderful the food is.

No frills, comfort New Mexican food. Tastes like your grandma cooked it, works well for a daily meal. We like both the Chili Relleno Plate and Blue Enchiladas plate. I'm not sure if adding beef was worth it for the enchiladas, I think the cheese enchilada would probably have had a bit more flavor. The favors here are simple but robust, and the price is right. The portions are good, you won't leave hungry. We appreciated that the fried options didn't taste overly oily or fatty, this may even be a healthy as far as restos go. I will stop buy again next time I visit.

Oh. My. Gawd! So delicious. Best sopapillas in town and two come with every meal (although I still had to order a third because they were so delicious). And REALLY nice honey for your sopapillas. I got the #1 combo and that was probably the best hard shell taco I've ever had. The rice was also great. Everything was. And spicy, but still within my tolerance as a native New Mexican who has been gone a long time. You know a place has EXCELLENT food if they can close at 7pm every day and not even bother opening on the weekend and still be so successful. Nice wait staff too. And FAST. Not much in the way of "atmosphere" but who cares! The FOOD! SO GOOD! And only about 15 per person with soft drinks. GREAT value.
